Andrew Ross discovered on Saturday that he was unable to travel to the United Arab Emirates for "security reasons". This is the first time in history that a professor from NYU has been banned from traveling to the UAE. NYU has operated a satellite campus since 2010 in Abu Dhabi. Ross is a strong advocate for workers' rights.
