Apple Bans 'Bonded Servitude' for Factory Workers
After being criticized over working conditions in its factory, Apple began an internal audit to investigate the allegations. It was found that new hires working in the factory were subject to a fee, also known as bonded servitude. Following the investigation, the fee will now be paid by suppliers rather than employees.
