Apple says China agent forged documents for underage workers
Apple says that it has stopped doing business with a Chinese supplier that forged documents for underage workers. The company found evidence of 74 people younger than 16 using fake documents to work for the supplier. The incident is part of Apple's efforts to step up monitoring of its supply chain after the company drew criticism for working conditions at suppliers in China, namely Foxconn. Apple says that it conducted 393 audits last year.
