Workers at Apple’s Grand Central Terminal retail store in NYC are looking to unionize. Organizers have coined themselves Fruit Stand Workers United and are seeking representation by Workers United. They will be collecting authorization cards to assess the unionization support among employees. FSWU is seeking higher wages and increased bargaining power over issues like benefits and workplace safety.
