Arizona Lawmakers Target Public Workers' Unions
Arizona labor unions are protesting bills that are working their way through the Legislature. Three bills would restrict dues collection and pay for union activities. Another would ban collective bargaining for all public workers in the state, including police and firefighters. The sponsors of the bill say that public workers should be allowed to put themselves ahead of the public. Arizona is already a right-to-work state.
