Arrests in Fast Food-Worker Strikes
In 150 cities across the U.S. fast-food workers from major chains such as McDonalds, Wendys and KFC walked off the job demanding wage increases to $15 an hour. 500 of the strikers were arrested or ticketed amounts close to $700. Fast-food workers now make approximately $18,000 so a wage increase has the potential to raise that considerably.
