Arriva court plan to prevent Six Nations rail strike
British train company Arriva Trains Wales says that it is considering getting an injunction to prevent rail workers from striking on the opening day of the Six Nations rugby tournament. The strike is over pay, which the union says would leave some workers with less than they have now. ATW says that its pay offer is fair, and that a strike would cause huge disruptions for the over 30,000 fans expected to attend the tournament. Fans are taking matters into their own hands and arranging different transportation for the match day.
