As a result of high global inflation, thousands of workers in Spain protest for wage increases
On Thursday, members of two of Spain's largest unions went on strike to protest wages not meeting the high inflationary pressures and rising cost of living. The wage issues related to inflation are being experienced by workers across the globe, as there have recently also been similar strikes throughout the UK and US. As a result, thousands of Spanish workers are demanding that the government and business raise the minimum salary to better meet workers' basic needs.
