During the Covid-19 pandemic, the travel industry was severely impacted, including the airplane manufacturers. However, recently, Boeing announced its plans to hire thousands of new employees. This marks the company's financial recovery from the pandemic as well as the recovery of the travel industry as a whole. Other plane manufacturers, such as Airbus, have also announced expectations to grow their workforces.
