AT&T union employees vote to authorize strike if contract negotiations not settled this weekend
AT&T workers have voted to strike if their contract negotiations are not finished this weekend. 94% of workers voted for a strike, and workers will be taking home personal belongings today in preparation. Negotiations have centered around wages, benefits and working conditions. AT&T says that it needs more flexibility, especially in terms of benefits to stay competitive. The company says that they have been planning for two years for an eventual strike.
