Australian Media Company Fined for Not Paying Interns
Recently in Australia, a federal court ruled that the sports broadcaster Crocmedia must pay $18,900 for violating labor laws. The company had breached these laws by not paying two exploited interns. One of the interns was a recent graduate, and the other intern worked a six month shift from midnight to dawn.
