BA crew Christmas strikes suspended
British Airways' cabin crew members have called off their Christmas and Boxing Day walkouts. The 4,500 employees were considered part of the "mixed fleet" and therefore received lower wages compared to other airline employees. Earlier this week, Unite, the union representing the cabin crew, also called off its Swissport Christmas Eve strike. The similar outcomes have led many to criticize Unite for potentially coordinating the holiday strikes and hurting innocent travelers.
