Background checks expand for home-health workers
New regulations in Ohio will increase the number and intensity of background checks for home health care workers. The changes come from new laws, as well administrative rulings. The state said that the changes will eliminate inconsistencies in the system, no matter what area they work in. Home health agencies said that they were concerned abut the cost of the background checks. Background checks will be done every five years.
