Balancing career and family time is doable
Working women with children often find it difficult to balance the demands of work and family. Although many companies claim to be family-friendly, women who take time away from work to attend to their children are often viewed as uncommitted. Ellen Galinsky, president of Families and Work Institute, says that it is possible to achieve professional success and still have time for a personal life. She says that workers need to stand up to their employers and make their families a priority.
