Bangladesh Fire Spurs Rights Campaign in U.S.
A factory fire in Bangladesh that killed more than 100 people last November has spurred efforts to get companies that produced in the factory to compensate the victims. Wal-Mart and Walt Disney were among the companies producing in the factory, and workers say that the companies should take responsibility for the conditions that their clothes are made under. Wal-Mart has said that the supplier producing clothes at the factory was unauthorized, and that they take safety seriously.
