Be productive: Call in sick
According to a recent survey by ComPsych, a Chicago company that provides employee assistance programs, 77 percent of workers say they come to work sick. However, sick workers mean less productivity. A new term, presenteeism, describes time and productivity lost when employees are physically at work but not feeling well enough to be productive. Sometimes it pays to just call in sick.
