Beleaguered? Not Teachers, a Poll on 'Well-Being' Finds
A new poll found that teachers remain very satisfied with their work. The survey found that teachers were more likely than other professions to say that they had smiled or laughed during the day and experienced happiness and enjoyment at work. A survey last month found that teacher satisfaction had dropped since 2008, but that overall most teachers are happy with their jobs. The poll also found that teachers reported stress on the job as well as problems with their supervisors more frequently than most other professions.
