Better Ideas Through Failure
Studies show that those who fail the most also have the most success, and companies are attempting to take advantage of that. Companies have begun instituting policies that reward employees for trying something new and making a mistake, rather than not innovating because of a fear of failure. They say that to remain competitive and innovative, their employees cannot be afraid to take risks. Strategies include awards for "heroic failure", setting aside time for employees to be creative, and simply not punishing employees for honest mistakes.
