Bias Suit Delayed Against Wal-Mart
A discrimination lawsuit against Wal-Mart has been delayed after the company appealed a ruling that allows the suit to be declared a class action. The class-action suit covers 1.6 million female workers who claim that they were paid less than men and offered fewer promotions. Wal-Mart denies the charges and has called the class size unconstitutional.
