This evening President Biden plans to sign executive orders for vaccine mandates. One of the orders will require all government employees to be vaccinated with no option of opting out by being tested regularly. Federal workers will now have 75 days to get vaccinated or risk being fired. The other order will extend the same standard to employees of contractors that do business with the government. He will also be directing the Labor Department to draft an emergency rule that will require all businesses with 100 or more employees to instate a vaccine mandate or require their unvaccinated employees to be tested once a week.
