Biden shows his support for Kellogg’s striking union workers
President Joe Biden has released a statement in support of striking Kellogg Co. workers and says that he is deeply troubled by the company’s plans to hire permanent replacements. This is the second time Biden his weighed in on key labor action and expressed his support for unions, as in February he defended workers’ rights to form a union by supporting Amazon employees in Alabama. Biden said in his statement “I have long opposed permanent striker replacements and I strongly support legislation that would ban that practice.”
