BlackRock announces enhanced employee support to address complaints of intolerant behavior
On Thursday, BlackRock Chief Executive Larry Fink released a memo to employees promising new support and reporting channels for employees as well as evaluating the conduct of the company’s executives. This follows a legal review conducted by an external law firm after several complaints from employees about racial and sexual harassment and executive misconduct, both of which they claim were not addressed properly by HR. Fink says the company will be investing more in their HR team and having executives undergo peer review.
