Board: Delta didn't hamper union vote
The National Mediation Board has ruled that Delta Airlines did not interfere in an election for baggage handlers. The union lost the vote when 54% voted against it. The International Association of Machinists, who was seeking to represent the workers, said that the company interfered by having voting on company computers, which it could monitor. The National Mediation Board said that any interference was minor and not systematic. The Board is still looking into other interference claims in other Delta elections.
