Bombardier Learjet Workers Strike
About 825 Learjet employees in Kansas have gone on strike over contract negotiations. The workers walked out after negotiations stalled and the current contract expired. The workers say that they are striking over health care benefits, as well as salaries. The company says that their offer is fair and similar to what non-union employees have. The plant is still operating with managers and non-union employees.
