Brooklyn kosher food maker agrees to pay $577,000 to 20 NY ex-workers to settle federal case
Twenty former employees of a Brooklyn kosher food manufacturer have reached a settlement after a five year dispute over working conditions. The employees will receive $577,000. The campaign against the company caused over 120 supermarkets to stop selling the company's products. Many of the workers were immigrants.
