Brown proposes 4-day week for state workers
California governor Jerry Brown has proposed cutting ht work week for state workers to four days in an effort to reduce costs. California is facing a $15.7 billion budget deficit, and the Governor says that the changes are very necessary. Other proposed cuts include those for education and health care spending. Proposed cuts to the court system have drawn criticism for the effect that they will have on the justice system.
