Brussels public transport paralyzed by workers' strike over death
A transportation workers' strike in Brussels has brought public transportation to a standstill. The strike began on Saturday after an employee was killed during an altercation. Workers say that they regularly encounter abuse on the job, and that they want changes instituted. The government has announced that it will hire more security officers, and said that they hoped the changes would bring workers back to the job.
