Bush Economic Team Under Fire Over Jobs
Bush?s economic team has been forced to back away from their prediction that the economy would add 2.6 million new jobs this year. A White House spokesman said that the figures were only a theoretical economic model. Bush?s economic policies are being attacked by Democrats in the presidential race, and he is trying to show that the economy is recovering and that strong job production will follow.
