Bush to pose changes to immigration law for Mexicans
President Bush is set to propose a change to U.S. immigration policy that would allow foreign workers who have American jobs waiting for them to enter the country. Mexican officials have been pushing for more unrestricted movement over the border ever since the U.S. tightened security post-Sept. 11. Some question whether the new proposal is simply an attempt by Bush to gain the support of Latino voters before the presidential election.
