California Tops Other States in Job Growth
Over the last year, California has added approximately 498,000 new jobs. The state added thirty percent more jobs than Texas, which ended up in second place for job growth with 392,900. Within the Los Angeles metropolitan area, more than 58,200 new jobs were added. Florida was the state with the third largest job growth adding 274,100 new jobs.
