Campbell Soup Company receives the Gallup Great Workplace Award 2010
The Campbell Soup Company announced today that it has won the 2010 Gallup Great Workplace Award for the fourth consecutive year. The award is one of the most vigorous ever given, with a spokesperson for Gallup describing the winners as changing 'the global standard for engaging people.' By engaging people Gallup means that Campbells and the other winners go above and beyond in terms of valuing their employees, and making sure each employee has an emotional connection to the company. Campbells specifically places emphasis on employee engagement. The company has strict accountability programs but also 'encouragement' programs, including networking, community involvement and service projects, and a number of recognition programs for employees. Campbells will receive their award at the Gallup Summit in late April, where they will also present on the best practices they implemented in their workplace.
