Candle factory workers who survived tornadoes are considering a lawsuit against the company
Attorney Amos Jones has issued a press release saying that he has been retained by several of the survivors of the deadly tornado that killed eight workers in a Kentucky candle factory. One of the workers being represented by Jones, Elijah Johnson, says that he and several other workers asked to leave and were told they would be fired. Johnson is currently suffering from groin, neck, and back pains. Mayfield’s CEO says that no one was forced to stay. The company said Tuesday that they will be “retaining an independent expert team to review the actions of our management team and employees.”
