Car sales booming, factories hiring more workers
American automakers are adding more workers and shifts around the country in an effort to keep up with growing demand. Last year car makers and parts manufacturers added around 38,000 jobs, and have already announced plans to add 13,000 more. The auto companies are struggling to balance production costs with car costs in an effort to keep auto prices lower. Over the last decade, parts manufacturers and automakers had cuts hundreds of thousands of jobs.
