Casino Reaches Tentative Deal With Workers
Atlantic City casinos and thousands of striking workers have reached a tentative agreement, ending a month-long labor dispute. The workers, represented by Local 54 of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant union, achieved significant gains in wages and benefits. A spokesman for the casinos said that owners are happy that employees will be returning to work.
