Chicago fast food, retail workers strike today
Chicago retail and fast food workers went on strike today to protest for higher pay and better working conditions. The workers, who come from stores like McDonald's, Sears, Subway and Victoria's Secret are asking for a $15 an hour wage rate. Workers say that they cannot live on the wages that they make now. Workers began walking out at 5:30 am, and more workers are excepted to walk out throughout the day.
