Chief Justice Won't Delay Wage Rules for Home Care Workers
On October 13th, new wage regulations implemented by the Obama administration are set to take effect. A Supreme Court judge has denied three requests to delay the new policy, that will include minimum wage protection and overtime for home healthcare workers. The three organizations that have filed for a delay argue that this new law will greatly affect businesses and could jeopardize the home-care business available for elderly and disabled individuals.
