China Pressures Wal - Mart, Other Investors
The All China Federation of Trade Unions is threatening to sue foreign companies such as Wal-Mart if they don't set up union branches in their China operations. The 123 million-member union is trying to boost membership and its political status. The trade union federation plans to collaborate with local governments and company employees to 'black list' foreign companies that have yet to set up union branches.
