China Says 2-Child Policy to Add 30 Million Workers by 2050
China has plans to move away from the one child policy to now allow couples to have two children. It is expected that this change in policy will affect 90 million women in the country who will now be eligible to have a second child. By 2050, the new policy will add approximately 30 million new workers to the country's labor force. Currently annual births in China are approximately 16.87 million but this new policy will increase that number up to 20 million.
