China sees beginning of a labor shortage
China, the world's most populous nation, is experiencing labor shortages of about two million workers in two important manufacturing provinces. This shortage is being caused by a shift in labor force demographics and the increased bargaining power of migrant workers. The number of people in the labor force is decreasing due to an aging population, causing an upward wage pressure.
