Chinese Union: Wal - Mart Wants to Talk
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has asked to hold talks with China's state-sanctioned labor group after employees formed the retailer's first Chinese unions, the labor group and a state news agency said Wednesday. No date has been set for a meeting, said Li Jianming, a spokesman for the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. He declined to say what Wal-Mart asked to discuss.
