Chrysler May Add More Than 3,000 Workers, UAW Official Says
The United Auto Workers say that Chrysler may hire more than 3,000 new workers and add shifts at US plants in the next few months. The UAW, which will begin contract negotiations with US automakers this year says that the conversation for negotiations this year is different because of the improved performance of the companies. The UAW says that it will focus on jobs, and rebuilding production in the United States. The current contract expires in September.
