Cincinnati Bell Reaches New Contract Involving 1,000 Workers
Cincinnati Bell announced that it has reached a new contract agreement with the Communications Workers of America. The CWA represents about 1,000 of the company's 3,000 workers. The deal was made hours before the current three-year agreement expired, and will last for 39 months. The company did not release the details of the agreement, but said that it included pay raises and pension and health care changes. Workers will vote on the contract, and if it passes it will be ratified in June.
