City will pull financial support if Labor Day parade isn't open to all
In Wisconsin, the Marathon County Central Labor Council has banned Republican participation in the Labor Day parade. The City says that it will not help pay for the parade unless the ban is removed. The Council says that the decision was made because Republicans had not supported labor and should not be allowed to participate. Spokespeople for Republicans legislators in the area say that they are disappointed they will not be participating.
