Civil Servant Bonus Bill Passes House
Civil servants in the federal government may soon be eligible for bonuses and other incentives aimed at enticing and retaining qualified government workers who may otherwise join the private sector. Included in a bill passed by the House are bonuses of up to 100 percent of an employee?s annual salary and compensatory time off for those who travel on business. The bill will now return to the Senate for a final vote.
