Class settlement approved for AT&T workers who were wrongfully denied wages
Recently, a settlement agreement was approved by a California federal judge to resolve a class action suit on behalf of AT&T workers. In the case, nearly 4,000 workers alleged that AT&T did not pay all of the required minimum and overtime wages owed, as well as failed to comply with labor regulations regarding meal and rest breaks. There was an attempt to settle the case in May of earlier this year, however, it was not successful due to issues with the defined settlement class. After revising the scope of the settlement class, AT&T will now pay the agreed upon settlement to benefit the affected workers.
