CNN has fired three employees for breaching their vaccine mandate. CNN is one of the first known examples of a company terminating workers for not following a workplace vaccination mandate. CNN had been relying on an honor system for entrance into their offices. The company foresees showing proof of vaccination becoming a formal part of the process for entering the workplace. CNN’s president wrote in an internal memo to employees, “Let me be clear – we have a zero-tolerance policy on this.”
