Coal miners lost pay when Mitt Romney visited their mine to promote coal jobs
A coal mine in Ohio shut down this month for a campaign event for Mitt Romney. The company said that they told workers that attending the event was mandatory, and that they would not be paid for their time. For the workers, that meant that they did not get paid for time they would normally be working. Workers also said that they were afraid that they would be fired if they did not attend the rally. The company said that they did not see anything wrong with having workers attend the event, and that it was in the best interest of everyone.
