Coca-Cola Settles Whistle-Blower Suit for540,000
Matthew Whitley, a former Coca-Cola employee who claims that he was fired after he raised concerns about fraudulent accounting and marketing practices at the company, has reached a $540,000 settlement with Coca-Cola. Executives at Coca-Cola said that it was unfortunate that Whitley felt that he needed to file a lawsuit and hope that all employees feel comfortable bringing their concerns to management.
