Companies in U.S. added more workers than forecast in June
A report released by Automatic Data Processing Inc., Wednesday showed that private-sector jobs in the U.S. increased by 188,000 in June. Figures for the month exceeded economists? predictions for an increase of 160,000. Small businesses increased payrolls by 84,000. The report attributed the modest gains to a bump in consumer demand.
