Conagra Brands announces closure of Wisconsin processing facility and warehouse
Conagra Brands, a major food company that produces brands such as Reddi-Wip, Slim Jim, Birds Eye, Orville Redenbacher’s, and various other brands, has announced the closure of a processing facility and warehouse in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. The closure of the warehouse will result in 252 employees losing their jobs. Conagra Brands states that the company is shutting down operations at the warehouse to improve efficiency and increase effectiveness in the company’s supply chain. The company also stated that after a thorough review, it determined that fewer facilities were needed to make the targeted level of goods. Production operations at the warehouse will cease beginning in early June, and the warehouse will shut down completely at the start of 2025. Conagra Brands will provide affected employees with severance packages.
